President Obama Visits Boston

US President Barack Obama made a fundraising visit to Boston Monday, June 25, 2012, making stops in New Hampshire and the Bay State to raise money for his re-election campaign. After a morning stop in Manchester, NH, President Obama made his way to Boston for a three stop fundraising blitz around the city. After an intimate, $40,000 a ticket, round table session at Hamersley's Bistro in Boston's South End, President Obama made his way to Symphony Hall where he spoke in front of 1,800 supporters who paid anywhere between $250 to $2,500 to see the President speak.
The President's visit wasn't full of supporters, however, as Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney's supporters set up across the street from Symphony Hall to voice their displeasure with President Obama. About 40 to 50 Romney supporters chanted and waived "Romney: Believe in America" signs. Chants of "Obama's gotta go" rang out as Obama supporters did their best to counter with chants of support for the President.
President Obama finished his fundraising visit with a dinner held at a private home in Weston, where ticket prices cost as much as $17,900.
